Puerto Vallarta $20 boat to private island?

I was told by a friend that there's a little boat you can ride which takes you to some private island where they'll served you buffet all day. Does anyone know where I can get this excursion ON LAND at PV?

I don't know of any private islands but there are private beaches in PV accessible by boat only. Las Animas is one that you can taxi down nearby and then grab a water taxi to. But I don't know about the availability of taxis upon return. There are several private beaches that different excursions take you to.
