Onboard extras could be spa treatments, anything from the onboard shops, bingo, speciality restaurants johnny rockets if on board is $4.95 each excluding drinks, portofino and chops around $20 per person excluding drinks, tips for rooms service and obviously end of week tips, internet access if you want it , items from the mini bar and shore excusions, you can spend as much or as little as you need . Travellers cheques can be cashed on board too. Have a wonderful cruise

So much is included in your fare that spending extra (except, for alcohol!!!!) isn't really needed!

 

Whether they are " really needed" or not depends on the individual. There are many who would dispute your contention that alcohol is the one permissable exception :rolleyes:. For some, dining in the specialty restaurants, internet use, souvenir purchases, special exercise classes, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and even bingo, represent essential components of their cruise experience. :)
