family table for traditional dining

We are going on a CB cruise this July, and some family members are now considering joining us. There will be six of us and we were wondering if we could some how arrange to be seated together at a table for six in traditional dining. Obviously we will have booked separately (and with different TAs), but is there any way to arrange this?

If there is still availability in traditional (it usually books up far in advance), you can have the travel agents link the booking with other family members, even if you all use a different TA. That tells the cruise line you are all traveling together and would like to dine at the same table.

 

But keep in mind, if this doesn't happen for some reason (such as a long waitlist for traditional), you can always change to anytime dining and request your table size each evening.

Yes there are many 6 top and 8 top tables available.

Once onboard I would also meet with the MD at the desiganated time listed in the Patter on embarkation day.

Just have all your booking numbers cross referenced. That will insure the same dining table.

As long as your reservations are linked by your TA or Princess and you've all selected the same dining time choice, you will be at the same table. Has worked out this way for us on many cruises.

We were waitlisted for early dining on Emerald in 2008 for months; cleared about a week before sailing and we all were at the same table.

Just check the table # on your cards upon embarkation.

two years ago we went on the emerald ( 7 of us all together) we were wait listed for late traditional but didnt get it. after boarding we wnet to see maitre d( or someone similar) and we we given an allocated time for all of us on 1 table in anytime dining, still had to queue but always had the same table with the same waiters. worked out fine for us .

Have your TA's link the reservations. When you board, compare your cruise cards to be sure you were given the same table and seating. If not, go see the Maitre 'd.
