Room service

Im sure this has been asked before but havent seen it posted lately. Is there a charge for room service?

There is usually no charge - just a space to tip the server, and a ticket to sign.

If you're on Royal Caribbean they charge between midnight and 5 am. I think it's only a few dollars though.

Depends on what cruise line you are sailing on. Carnival does not charge for room service. However it is expected to tip a buck or so per order.

You may want to ask this on the pages for the line you will be taking. There are some sharges creeping in. For instance, when Princess started delivering pizza, they did it with a $3 fee. I believe RCCL charges for deliveries late at night.

We always tip the person who brings our room service order to our cabin anywhere from $2.00 - $4.00 for our orders depending on what time of day we order. (this is for 2 people ordering) If we order anything after 10PM we tip more. Our food and servers have always been outstanding on Carnival and my kids just love ordering "Room Service"!:D
