What to do while husband sails/snorkels?

We are going to to St. Thomas on the Star Princess in April. While the rest of our group is doing a sail/snorkel day, I just want to do a little shopping and then return to the ship to read, get a massage, take a nap . . . are there good shopping areas near where we will dock? Any other suggestions for a relaxing day in St. Thomas would be appreciated. Thanks, MadMark's wife.

You can shop either in Havensight (where most ships dock) or take a $3/5-8 minute taxi ride to downtown Charlotte Amalie and shop there.
