For those who have done it, would you do one of these over the other. I like the idea of West Bay Beach w/ South Shore. Also, how long is the walk up to the zips with South Shore. I know the Clip N' Zip is about 600 Ft.

Unless you book thorugh a tour operator like Island Marketing (or others) the biggest issue for South Shore is getting there from Mahogany Bay, where the Legend docks. I understand cab fares are being pushed upwards to $60 pp RT. It was $20 from Coxen hole.

You actually climb down a couple of stair levels to the first platform from the main station at South Shore. Then its something like 12-13 lines and a walk over a swinging bridge and a van ride back to the main station. Very thrilling with great guides. At Clip N Zip, they take you up part of the way in a pickup and you climb a short distance to the first platform. Fantastic views on the zip down.

Cost wise, CnZ is better. But if you're going to do a beach afterward, then Go to South Shore and continue on to a beach on the West End/West Bay. Island Marketing used to take you to Fosters. Any of these beaches are 10X better than Mahogany Bay in terms of scenery, sand, snorkeling. If you don't want to spend the $$ for cabfare or tour, then know that you can do CnZ anytime while you're in port. They even have a shorter run for cruisers who want to zip but don't have enough time for the main lines before their ship leaves.

You said IM used to take you to Foster's. Have they changed that and if so, where do they take you now? We doing their Zip and Dip in April.

Fosters was where they went at one time. Sometimes these tours change places depending upon the deals they cut with the other vendors. Their websites tend not to list the beach clubs they go to becasue they want you to think it's exclusive to IM. But if you ask them they can cetainly tell you which beach they go to. If it's still Fosters, you'll have a good beach experience.
