theverro Posted March 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2010 Hello, What is the height restriction for the Corkscrew and Drainpipe waterslides on the Dream. And I can't figure out how the Drainpipe ride finishes; does it drop you into a pool of water, or do you "slide" to the end? Thanks, Richard

mom2lillirissa Posted March 15, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2010 the corkscrew waterslide on a different ship had a height requirement of 42 inches. Can't help you with the drainpipe. It sounds scary to me.
gopher_grad Posted March 15, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2010 The previous poster is correct in the 42 inch height requirement. The drainpipe actually ends in the drainpipe then you get up and walk down a short flight of stairs that begins in the center of the drainpipe to get out. elcuchio24 Posted March 15, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2010 I'm 6'3'', they better let me on. The Corkscrew is the one filled with watered down OJ and vodka, right?

PROCRUISE Posted March 15, 2010 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2010 The previous poster is correct in the 42 inch height requirement. The drainpipe actually ends in the drainpipe then you get up and walk down a short flight of stairs that begins in the center of the drainpipe to get out. Additionally, since no staff member at the top bothers to say anything-PLACE YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD. Three of us, all 60+, went down and cracked are heads really good when we flew out of the tube into the drain. I asked the staff member who stands in the actual drainpipe at the end of the ride why they weren't warning people at the top. He simply shrugged his shoulders. We watched a number of other adults come out holding the back of their heads in pain. Other than that, it's fun!
