SlyOldLady Posted March 17, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2010 I know this sounds trivial but...I'll be switching ships in Vancouver during a b/b/b and was wondering if I have to bring along a stapler and packing tape, or will they help me on board? Sea42 Posted March 17, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2010 They can help you with this on the ship. Either your cabin steward or the purser's desk.
sultan_sfo Posted March 17, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2010 My Take: Carry all the needed tags with you printed out and prepared. And yes -- buy one of those mini-staplers to take with you. -Lew- Posted March 17, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2010 I'd recommend bringing a small roll of clear packing tape. I laminate the printed area of the tag with clear packing tape then cut the tag to size at home. Before boarding, I attach the tag with clear packing tape. This results in an almost indestructible tag that's very difficult to remove. Lew
janina Posted March 17, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2010 I'm sure they will have a stapler at the desk, no need to pack one. I would bring your printed luggage tags, just in case.:)

Perhaps not, necessitating schlepping all her luggage to the Purser's desk. If you're going the stapler route, bring your own. I would bring your printed luggage tags, just in case. In case of what? There's no question she will need to bring her printed tags. Lew
