Balcony on the Emerald.

Booked a guaranteed balcony on the Emerald and received confirmation five days later of an upgrade to category BB on the Caribe deck. Are the balconies on the Caribe deck exposed to the decks above? Are they larger than the balconies on the Baja? Thanks....

Congrats. Great upgrade. Caribe balconies are 1 1/2 times the size of those on Baja. They are half open/half covered.

:DI agree. You will really enjoy the extra space and furniture on the balcony. Caribe deck balconies are the largest with few exceptions. Enjoy!

Although we normally book enclosed balconies, we had our first Caribe deck balcony last cruise and absolutely loved it ! It is the best of both worlds.
