The tale of the owl(s) and the pussycat(s)

With apologies to Edward Lear.

The owl and the pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat,

............

In our tale the two little brown owls were living happily on the island of Phuket, when one night they happened to alight on a rather large tree for a brief nap.

Unfortunately the tree was actually a beautiful white lady and it sailed away to sea.

The little owls could not fly a great distance and suffered in the heat of the day.

A kind waiter captured the owls, fed them with minced best fillet steak and kept them safe.

After 3 long days and nights the beautiful white lady reached the magical island of Celon, and before the immigration authorities could come onboard and arrest the owls (for of course they had no passports), the kind waiter released them.

Now they are seeking asylum from the Sri Lankan government and hope to start a new owl colony.

And where do the pussycats come into this. Of course they were asleep in their luxury dungeon after drinking too much cream and missed the entire event.

If I had to hazard a guess on this well put mystery.....The Whisper was in Phuket where the owls must have taken up residence. The ship realized these owls were in trouble and out of their element and they fed them until they reached Sri Lanka where they flew away. Ahh nature and man.
