RedmondCruiser Posted March 27, 2010 #26 Share Posted March 27, 2010 We have done several B to B's and we like them. On the turn around day you may have to get off the ship to go through immigration. On our last B to B there were close to 300 people who were staying on for the next cruise. We all had to take our passports to the main show room and show it to a customs officer, so we stayed on the ship. Once we stayed in the terminal for close to two hours since the ship did not zero out. Turned out it was a couple in a suite did'nt pack the night before and slept in on top of it. The crew had to pack for them and escort them off the ship. The sad thing is that they were part of our CC group. I have not seen a post from her in over two years now since the cruise. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 27, 2010 #27 Share Posted March 27, 2010 A couple of times we were also excused from attending the second life boat drill. There is no consistancy.

KK were you excused from doing the life boat drill in San Diego and Vancouver BC on your April-May Panama cruise last year? We did not get back on the ship until after the drill was completed in San Diego and skipped the drill in Vancouver. In Vancouver I nervously sat in a lounge chair on the aft upper deck waiting for some crew member to yell at me "why aren't you at your life boat station"? We were coming out of the Neptune lounge while in San Diego when it was time for the life boat drill. You should have heard some people complaining about having to go to a life boat while others were excused. I politely informed one person that this was still a continuation of a cruise for us - not the beginning of one.
lilith1155 Posted March 27, 2010 #30 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Here's another B-B question. If you buy a drink card on the first leg of your cruise, can you use any remaining punches on the second leg?

fishbabe Posted March 30, 2010 #32 Share Posted March 30, 2010 A good time to replenish your wine supply. Good wine stores nearby. Ah, a man after our own heart :D. This is no doubt what we'll be doing after coming off a T/A and beginning a trek to the Amazon. Thanks!
