Groucho Posted March 25, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Hi Can anyone report on the location of the Oasis Life Boat Stations? The running track seems to be too narrow to hold all of the passengers there. Thanks! Bob
Ilikeboats Posted March 25, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2010 All we did was meet at the Aqua Theatre and was told that is where we were to meet at the Aqua Theatre if there were a loud horn sound (5 or 7). Honestly, that is all I remember. No life jackets or assembling near life boats. There are these huge self contained "life boats" that do not require life jackets. I don't know where other's meet. The entire theatre was full though.
Jerrycobra_RCI Posted March 25, 2010 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2010 the oasis evacuation plans are different from most ships, instead of putting on a life jacket and heading to the promenade/jogging deck stations, you go to your assigned lounge, where the life jackets and equipment are stored there, instead of the room closet, also, the life boats don't need to be extended and lowered to load up, you just walk straight in
Rare steamboats Posted March 25, 2010 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Stations are all inside and mainly on deck 5. Your SeaPass Card will be scanned and then you´re going to watch a video. No lifevests involved. steamboats
DEIx15x8 Posted March 25, 2010 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2010 Can anyone who has sailed recently comment on if they fixed the viewing problem in the Theater? On our Jan. 2nd sailing they played the video on the two small TV screens which were nearly impossible to see. They should have dropped the projector screen as well. lemsh4 Posted March 26, 2010 #7 Share Posted March 26, 2010 Ours was at Guest Services - crowded and had to stand in lines the entire time. No life jackets as previously mentioned.
