Are you allowed to take food and beverages back to your room from the lounge during open hours?

Thay ask that you not, but as a practical matter you can carry a single drink or item with you. I imagine if it looks like you're catering a party they'd say something.

The rule is no, it depends on the Captain's Club host or hostess on duty at the time

Though I believe they prefer that nothing leave the room food and beverage wise on my only experience to date with this during the cocktail hour thing the waiters usually did a last call and many folks carried a drink out with them, I am guessing these were the early dinner folks carrying a drink for dinner. I on the other hand had late sitting and just finished off my last drink on the stern outside of the Pavillion lounge, very quiet and relaxing back there.
