new to carnival pride, question

do they serve breakfast and lunch in the main dining room as well as on the Lido Deck?

Yes, but you do not have assign seats for breakfast & lunch, in fact they seat you with others at the larger tables. I guess you can request a different table though.

On sea days they serve both breakfast and lunch. On port days, I think only breakfast. We prefer to eat all meals in the MDR with the buffets as backup

Breakfast in the MDR on the Pride was delicious -- highly recommend trying at least once!

funny I never knew until now that breakfast was ever served in the MDR. Why do I always eat the cold buffets!

There are things available in the MDR that aren't available at the buffet at breakfast and lunch, but it's mostly the same stuff. I love omelets, which are made up on the Lido deck, so I always eat breakfast there. I'm too busy catching rays and sliding down the slide to ever go to the MDR for lunch.

We always eat in the dining room for all meals. The only time we go to the buffet is for lunch on the days we are in port. The food is great and we love talking to people from other places.
