Rental car? Mia to port of Miami.

Not really worth it for a $24 cab ride. There are no rental agencies IN the port and you would have to be shuttled.

Even a large group would be better of taking taxis or taxi minivans and splitting the $24 fare.

Are you doing this exclusively for transportation? I mean, are you spending any time in Miami, renting and returning the car on different days?

As stated above, the cab is only $24.00 plus tip, certainly less than renting a car once you add the taxes, fees, insurance, and gasoline. The hassle alone of returning the car could prove frustrating for you and your party.

Let us know if you are spending time in the city between renting and teurning the car.

Avis, Hertz and Enterprise have downtown locations near (not at) POM. Parking at Miami area hotels, unless you are out near the airport, will cost $25+ per day. You don't need a car unless you are going to explore south FLA and Key West before your cruise. Good luck!:)
