Cooking Classes

I just read on the boards (thank you for the info) that the regular classes at New Orleans School of Cooking are not "hands-on." Bummer. We are only two people so we can't do the special class of 6 or more. Does anyone know of another cooking class that is fun and hands-on that we could get into?

Thanks,

We looked for a hand-on class in December and found none. But, when we got into discussion with the folks at the Riverwalk mall cooking store, they said they are planning to begin offering hands-on classes this spring. I can't remember the name of the store, but I do remember it coming up on a search I did looking for classes before we left. I just typed in "cooking classes" and "New Orleans" into a search engine and found some ideas.

Here it is- I have gone to their regular classes 6 times. Just excellent cheap lunch. :) Print out the $5 off coupon from the Good Times Guide site. But Susan Murphy- the supreme teacher left in December. Look for a class with Chef Bang. :)
