Caribe Hilton?? priceline..

How is the Caribe Hilton? Got one night post cruise. Are there any other areas around San juan that have resorts listed from priceline? I want the San Juan Area, but can't win a bid and afraid of requesting other areas. HELP!!

Marriott San Juan Resort And Stellaris Casino is the one I got from priceline. My bid was $80.

Just stayed at the Carib Hilton last weekend pre-cruise and it was wonderful. I would consider going back there for a few days without cruising too. Beautiful pools/beach/hammocks/restaurants....

Did you get the Marriott at $80? That's awesome. We are debating whether to book our cruise ourselves or use a travel agent.

So on priceline can you choose the hotel you want or do they randomly pick it for you?

Priceline chooses the hotel for you when you bid. Certain hotels are considered resorts and they are all nice. You can get a great deal too!

We received Caribe Hilton from lastminutetravel . com for $99. A little more than some bids i have seen, but we will be there when it can be busy for the holidays do I'm happy with that price.

We were just at the Caribe Hilton on Sunday for one night post-cruise. It was gorgeous, as was the weather! Beach was nice; pools were great. The only negative was the price of drinks! Worse than the ship! Ridiculous...so if you want to drink, bring your own. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it. We booked on priceline as well. The room was very nice; we had a balcony. We also ate at Morton's. They have a great deal for 2 people- $109 for two filets, salads, a seafood addition for each person, two sides, and two desserts! It was perfect to just walk on over for dinner, and not have to leave the resort. We ate lunch at the nearby Subway...but I was just glad to have a Starbucks on property! Have fun!

We are staying post cruise in a couple of weeks. Bid on Priceline too and was wondering about the room you had. Lots of negative reviews about rooms being old etc.... I'm just hoping for a decent room with a balcony where I can have a little view of something. Just wondering if they put you in the worse rooms if you get it on Priceline or if its just the luck of the draw. Were you in the main bldg, tower or villas? Looking forward to a nice relaxing stay. I'm not real picky just want clean. The deal at Morton's sounds great. Is this offered all the time? :D

We bid on Priceline and got the Villa's. We stayed there the night of April 3rd. It was a really nice room overlooking the ocean. Clean and well kept up. I would go back there. Some people have been saying that when they checked out they were charged a "resort fee." We didn't get charged it.
