Hi, I am traveling with my two daughters and two grandaughters 19 and 14, sailing on Ectasy May 6. I need help with a room for the 5 of us the night before sailing, May 5. All the sites I try says it exceeds number of person in room:confused:.

Just scroll down a little farther on this thread and find the one what says "Where to stay in Galveston?" Lots of opinions on hotels available to you there...also check out www.galveston.com.

I have gotten lots of info from the thread "where to stay in galveston" and I have narrowed it down to one or two and also checked the galveston dot com but being five in a room is not an option, I think I will just call and explain our situation. Thanks so much.

The Marriott SpringHill Suites in Galveston will accept 5 to a room. The bed arrangement may not be what you are looking for, 2 doubles and a sofa bed. They call it a studio room.

Casa del Mar has rooms that sleep six. The units come with full kitchens stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc. The property is on Seawall Boulevard directly across from the Gulf. Many times they will waive any two night minimum they have in place, if you call them directly and ask.
