Skype on Azamara

Has anyone been able to use Skype onboard the Journey or Quest recently? We're boarding on Sunday and would like to use some of our Le Club minutes to Skype with our grandchildren back home.

Skype does not work on virtually any cruise ship. On some ships it's disabled. On most though, the connection speed is so slow or erratic that Skype connections are impossible. Use e-mail or text messages.

Someone recently posted on this board (I don't remember which thread) that Skype is disabled on Azamara ships. Try it from ports where they have internet connections.
