pjs9876 Posted April 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2010 Yaaa, let me anticipate a little. When do the olives I read about appear? I forgot about it last time and didn't get there till right before leaving. I plan to be better this time!

First cruise since we met you on Westerdam last Nov. This time going with her husband and a friend of mine from VA. I'll save you my olives - I'll never eat them - UGH. Say hi to the other half for us. Dianne
carmensmom Posted April 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2010 Just ask for the olives at the martini bar, they will give you a dish of them. You have a choice of several different kinds, garlic, jalapeno and I can't remember what else, those two are my favorites.

If you could take a photo of the cocktail list too I would really appreciate it! I am trying to track down a couple of drinks I had but cannot remember their name or their ingredients. Thank you. :)

h3rjp Posted April 14, 2010 #8 Share Posted April 14, 2010 I don't have a copy of the menu, but we noticed the cocktails were all $1.00 each more expensive than anywhere else on the ship.... but hey the "free" olives, cheese twists / pastry things and the ambience were worth it!

jagsfan Posted April 14, 2010 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2010 Boy, that was a lot of posts not to get an answer to OP's question. Guess this one doesn't help, either.
1 HappyCruiser Posted April 14, 2010 #12 Share Posted April 14, 2010 Not only are the drinks more expensive but they've recently reduced the size of the large frozen margarita by about 1/3 and the price has remained the same. They used to be served in a super large green striped glass & now they're just in a regular size glass. The bartender swore there the same size as before but it's obvious they've gotten smaller. Of course the amount of alcohol has also been reduced to match the glass size.
