Do I need to buy aifare right away?

Hi all,

Just booked the Conquest for 4/17 and looking at flights. From Albany, NY to NO I can't seem to find anything under 373 pp. There's always the option of NYC (EWR, LGA, JFK) since I can drive there, but I'd really prefer to go out of Albany as driving and parking or taking the train and taxis will cost some loot.

I would like to fly on the 16th and the 24th. Now, if the fares are high now, should I assume they'll only get higher? Or is there a chance they could drop?

Anyone got any advice for me? I'd appreciate it!

Thanks,

K

I always tend to book my airfare early. I booked my cruise for March in May and did my airfare in June, got round trip from Boston to Ft. Lauderdale for $192.20, thought that was a great deal. I have steadily watched my airfare go up and up, its now at $425 for the same flights. I say when your plans are firm and you see an airline price you are happy with, book it.
