Dream/Magic Same?

Am eagerly looking forward to Magic cruise in 2011 (I know, I know, soooooo far away).

Does anyone know how the ship will be alike or different from the Dream? We were thrilled to book an aft, wrap balcony cabin (Cat 9C). Does anyone have any info regarding those cabins on Dream? This is our firt Carnival cruise. We were hoping to do Italy on Azamara, but the line has done away with that itinerary.

TIA

There's some interesting differences between the two ships. The deck plan for the Magic has some real departures from the Dream and no one is really sure if they will stick or if there's yet more changes to come.

The ship is in the very early stages of construction leaving a lot of room for modifications...

I think that making changes ship to ship is a brilliant idea... It dispenses with the 'cookie cutter' aspect that bothers people so much about a given class of ships...

:)
