Keikidoc Posted April 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Nubie at cruising. Can anyone tell me the difference between the different balcony categories? BA to BF?
roe2ship Posted April 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2010 All about location. FYI, the Caribe deck have the largest balconies, they are half open and half closed.

TNcrzr4life Posted April 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Just got off the Star this past Saturday. We had BC category, B409. Loved it. Fairly midship with a covered balcony but we still enjoyed some sun and were protected from the wind :) Depending on the deck you choose the balcony will vary in size and amount of coverage. IMHO, you cannot go wrong with a balcony :D
ssbeagle Posted April 22, 2010 #5 Share Posted April 22, 2010 The BA cabins are usually on Caribe deck. They have the larger balconies and are a bit more private than the others. They are half covered and half open which is very nice if you don't want too much sun or a lot of sun. I prefer to be on Caribe deck if I am getting a balcony cabin. Baja, Aloha, and Lido decks have smaller balconies. That's the main difference besides which deck they are on.
