I haven't been on much lately, remember Carl's Mom was diagnosed with cancer in November ? And they said she had about 5-6 weeks left ? Well she has hung on until now and these definitely are her last few days...:( So keep her in your prayers .

 

 

ps....I think of you all everyday..the magnet is on my refrigerator...

Considering that they are already booking most other ships in the fleet for 2012 I am picking an earlier rather than later date for the contest. So, I think Carnival will release the dates for Jan-Feb 2012 on May 28th !!! No real reason except its Memorial weekend. :cool:

And we did!! It was a little chilly, but we enjoyed it. My hubby even has a homemade CD with Hot Hot Hot on it, so we felt like we were cruising!!:D

I'm Bummed! We had to cancel. We were all packed and loaded up for a trip to Mississippi and the 70's party tonight and ...you guessed it...the weather ruined it for us! Too many tornadoes swirling around for us to feel comfortable hitting the road...I sure hated to unload all that great stuff without even getting to put it on! ;P

Well, we are not sure yet! but, we are hoping for the southern route and because of that that, it will most likely be Fort Lauderdale, possibly Miami. Tampa is a little too far north to make it to the deep Southern Carribean in a 7-8 day cruise.

 

 

Sheila, sorry to hear about the bad weather for your party! I bet you will wear that 70s stuff again someday!

My wife and I have been on only one cruise before, Fascination in 2000. We are now booked on the Legend in Jan. of 2011 and since finding this website I have been getting a valuable education. I have also found that reading and posting extends the fun of the cruise. (kind of addicting) Count us in as very interested.

Good Morning and Welcome Paul and Bev. We are all waiting for Carnival to do their thing. This is a really fun group to cruise with. You can do as much or as little with the group as you like. We have had cabin crawls, cocktail parties, Red Dress and Duds nights, a 70' night, get togethers the night before the cruise. And of course there are the famous Tieras, Boas, red hats and/or ties at Embarkation.

 

Some people get tables together in the dining room, some take excursions together. We get T-shirts made and the Pictures and the Videos are outstanding. Did I mention the waterslide? I'm sure I have left some things out. Sheila and Sandy (and a lot of others too) work really hard to make it fun for everyone and EVERYONE is welcome always.

 

No hard sell here :D Shoot - our group sells itself :D

 

Hurry Up Carnival give us something (hopefully Aruba on the Miracle)
