kruzerci Posted April 26, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Can anybody explain why it is approximately $200 more to change from an oceanview to a JS by clicking modify beside my cabin number on my cruises than if I made a new reservation? We are over 70 days out so it would be free to cancel and rebook, but I would rather not have to bother with that.
Sue L Posted April 26, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2010 You sure you are looking at the same promos? taxes? etc?
kruzerci Posted April 26, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted April 26, 2010 You sure you are looking at the same promos? taxes? etc? Yup, the rates have gone up since we booked, but I am not looking at what I paid, just the difference to make a new booking and modify my reservation. Taxes are about the same and we didn't have any promos or special rates.

kruzerci Posted April 26, 2010 Author #5 Share Posted April 26, 2010 Call them in the morning. Put a free 24 hour hold on the one you want online. I will. Theres plenty open, all midship, so it doesn't make a big difference. I've just never run into this before. Usually it's just same price, click, and you're done .
