Bike rentals - St. John NB and/or Halifax NS

I'm wondering if there are any bike rental places nearby in these two ports where the cruise ships berth and what's the going rates nowadays?

I do not bike and just found this with a google search. Halifax is level along the waterfront, but to go anywhere else you will be going uphill.

 

There are sometimes complaints in the media that it is not a bike friendly city.

In Saint John they had bike rentals at Loyalist Plaza near the ship last year - probably be here again this year but I don't know for sure. I don't remember the exact cost - but at the time thought they seemed very reasonable.
