Can I purchase wine on Sunday morning in FLL?

Our flight lands in FLL this Sunday around 10:30. I've read about Total Wine, but I don't think it opens until noon and we'd like to be at the pier by then. 2 questions:

(1) Taking a taxi from FLL airport to the Solstice terminal (Port Everglades I believe), is there someplace (a grocery store perhaps) convenient for us to stop to purchase wine?

(2) Will we be able to purchase wine before noon on Sunday?

Thanks in advance. The whole concept of being able to purchase beer, wine or anything on Sunday is foreign to me as a Georgia resident.

There is a publix on Cordova (off of SE 20th) that opens at 7am. Not sure what other poster was saying about no wine before noon!?

Cordova is a little north of the pier so a little out of the way, but nothing too major, take a cab and he will no doubt wait for you while you shop.

We stayed at the LaQuinta Airport near a BJ discount store. When we disembarked and picked up our car, we were not able to pick up a bottle for a return journey. No wine before noon.:(

A lot of cities in the U.S. have laws prohibitting the sale of alcohol on Sunday mornings.

there is a Publix grocery store that has a very large wine and beer department a block off of 17th behind the Embassy Suites in Ft Lauderdale which as only blocks from the port. Just spoke with them and they do not start selling on Sundays before noon.
