scchasgal Posted April 30, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2010 We are looking at this tour as I have always wanted to zipline and it is so close to where we dock. Anyone done this particular zip tour? Also if you have how many lines do you go down? Van or walk to the top? How long does it all take? Thanks in advance. alwalaska Posted May 1, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2010 I'm interested in learning more about this and the other ziplines in Roatan as well.
Junebug15 Posted May 1, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2010 A Zip tour sounds awesome... just make sure they are considered safe by reading up about it. After seeing this: http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=2469 I decided not to zipline in Jamaica. I know accidents happen, but this could have been prevented. You just walk across fromt he pier area and sign up for the next run. They drive you up to near the top , a 5 minute walk, and then you zip back down to the start. If you search this board you'll find a number of threads on Clip N Zip. Start with this one http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1176204 And have a blast:)

shellgoodman Posted May 11, 2010 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2010 How long is the Clip N Zip and would we have time to go back to the ship, change into swimsuits and head out to Mahogany Beach?
scchasgal Posted May 11, 2010 Author #8 Share Posted May 11, 2010 How long is the Clip N Zip and would we have time to go back to the ship, change into swimsuits and head out to Mahogany Beach? From what I have been told it is 11 lines and about an hour long. What you are planning is exactly what we are planning as well.
