Got my luggage tags but...

okay so luggage tags came today and i was wondering what the letter A on the tag means, any ideas?

Do you have an Aft Cabin. Generally the lettering indicates the position on the Ship, one for Port of Starboard and Room #.

It has to do with your location on the ship, and how the luggage handlers sort them out to get them in the right location.

 

You could think of it as your are an "A+ cruiser" too..:D

no we have a family promanade room 7th deck, tag has room number then a big number 7 and the under that an A and they are blue, just curious since we have never cruised before

Does the A appear on a little diagram of the ship? If that's what you're looking at, it shows the general location of your cabin.

I believe it may reference you status with RCCL, e.g., none, gold, platinum or diamond/D+

The family promenade rooms on Freedom, 7607 & 7307 are closer to the AFT elevator/stair well, I would imagine it means AFT, so the baggage loaders know which end of the ship it goes
