I noticed in a previous post you recommended staying at the Waikiki Beachcomber. I got it on Priceline last night for a 4 day pre-cruise. Could you please tell me a little more about it? It concerned me because it says it is above Macy's! Do they have a tour desk?

Thanks!

I'm not Lindanick but just as input, the location for the Beachcomber is fantastic - right in the middle of Waikiki. It's right across the street from the Outrigger Waikiki hotel that has Duke's and you're also across the street from the Cheesecake Factory which has great value for the buck if you're willing to wait. And you're right next to the International Marketplace which is great for a quick place to eat as well as curio shopping.

A few years ago we stayed in the Beachcomber and we liked it very much.

Th pool is rather msalkl, but the beach is walking distance.

We took a shuttle-bus which brought us to the hotel from the airport.

Donot remember the costs, it was quite a long drive, I think almost 1 hour.
