Directions to get to Sunshine Grill

I've read wonderful reviews of the Sunshine Grill in Grand Cayman. Anyone have directions to get to this restaurant? Is it within walking distance to where Carnival tenders in?

Sunshine Suites and their Grill restaurant are located across the street from the Westin Hotel and Villas of the Galleon Condos.

About 2miles or so from Royal Palms. About 6 from the cruise tender dock.

It's walkable, depending on your personal definition of walkable, that is...and depending on how hot it is that day. It's a mile or two, maybe? But that can feel like a trek across the sahara if it's really sunny and hot out... :D

 

If you look at the map of Seven Mile Beach at the website mentioned above, you can see both the Ritz-Carleton and Royal Palms, and decide for yourself whether it's a walk you'd be happy with or not.

Two miles walking through the sand with a beach bag would be an hour each way. Guess it will be lunch on the ship.

It's probably an hour round trip, which is still bad in the hot sun. :D Why don't you just eat at Royal Palms? Their food's not bad, and it's better than doing the tender round trip an extra time to eat on the ship...

Oh I didn't mean I'd go back and forth twice from the ship. We'd just return to the ship at 1-2 PM, have lunch and stay onboard.

If you're already at Royal Palms, just go out to the road and catch a local bus (van) for the ride. They run regularly. Or take a short cab ride the cab it back to the tender dock.
