Swimming Pool/New England Cruise September

Hi, I am considering booking a New England Cruise, saily from New York aroun 12th September 2010 after spending a week in NY visiting my daughter and family. Thought this would be a good way to relax and see some parts of New England. As I have never been to this part of the world before I was just wondering whether the swimming pool on the Ship would be in use and if indeed it would be warm enough to use it between 12th - 18th September. Thanks for your help. Regards. Lynnfromwigan

I've lived in MA all my life that early in September it is still warm. Nights tend to get a bit cooler but 80's during the day is not unusual. That said, over the years I've seen the 50's through the 90's in Sept.

I usually close/winterize my swimming pool at the end of September.
