Does Carnival lower prices as the cruise nears?

i noticed yesterday when going over notes for my current sailing (when recording another small OBC ES;)) the majority of price drops/sales were on Thursdays:confused:. Anybody else have this happen on their cruise?

 

Yup all my price drops were a Thursday except 1 I think. Probably just a coincidence though.

Which speak of that, I do not see it being any cheaper. "Their price" is always the same as Carnival's from what I've checked into.

It's a total crap shoot. Some times the price keeps climbing until its all booked, sometimes they drop the price huge to fill up rooms.

 

The cruise we took last week had stayed at the same price we booked for months before dropping big time a couple weeks before sail.

 

You just never know....
