Jabee Posted May 15, 2010 #26 Share Posted May 15, 2010 heard of taking the "Free art" off the ship. I have been on 12 cruises and bought art on each one, and won way too many free pieces, In fact, I probably have at least two of each freebie right now. The only art taken off the ship is designated as a TO (Take Off) and normally bid at very low prices. They have thousands of the free pieces, but to receive them you must pay the $30 to buy a "tube" which will hold up to three pieces of art. And, I agree with the bulk....as I look around my den I see art and smile thinking of the cruise I bought it on. Park West has an increibly huge business, and the OP pointed to a story that was over a year old. I am sure they are sued quite often as any multi million dollar company is. But with the changes in guarantees, money back, exchange, etc. they have started to offer the last two years, they are certainly a legit company. Nunu Posted May 15, 2010 #28 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Carnival tried their own program (Carnival Fine Art) a few years back, but quickly dropped it. If you looked hard enough you could see the numbers under the paint.
