Finally, we will be in Destiny!

Hello everyone! We are happy, :):) we finally booked our first cruise! We Destiny on June 28. Hopefully we'll have a nice time and lots of fun! :cool: Greetings from Italy!

Congratulations on booking your first cruise. If you love it one tenth of how much we loved our trip to Italy, you will have a great time! Welcome to Carnival and the Cruise Critic Boards. Just post any questions you might have and the people here will be very helpful.

Here is a little secret on this ship - go to the very front of the ship on the Upper or Empress deck in the evening. It is a little quiet area with no one and the stars gazing is amazing from it! The doors seem locked - they are hard to open due to the wind.

Oh, I bet that was magnifico! I love star gazing. There in the desert there would be no light polution.

I did this too. Was amazed how we didn't have to sign our lives away and didn't have to wear helmets. Did you do this out of Sharm El Shik (sp?) Loved that place.

We are just off the Destiny and had a great time. You can use our place to stay here in Florida, if we can use your in Italy while you are away:D

Carnival has many designated smoking areas....

 

your cabin and balcony...although since the hallways are nonsmoking, no propping the cabin door open.

 

public areas are (interior) the casino (on the carpet), disco, piano bar, sports bar and cigar bar

 

(outside) the Starboard side of the Lido deck out by the pool

 

Note: from time to time Camp Carnival may be using the disco during the day and if Camp Carnival is in there....there is no smoking allowed.
