Himself Posted May 24, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 24, 2010 To the Best of my knowledge, the Amsterdam stop in Anckorage will be the first stop at this port by a HAL ship. This will be the first stop ever. It will be interesting to hear the reports from the people who are on this two week voyage. I think this will be historic
trvlcrzy Posted May 24, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2010 Thank you so much for this! Where do you get this from? Laffnvegas (Lisa) began this series of posts several years ago. Due to her change in work schedule, she was looking for a replacement poster. DH and I volunteered, so she shared with us a spreadsheet generated by HAL. Sometimes, we use the HAL website to verify things that might not make sense (like a ship being in the Mediterranean on one day but in the South China Sea the next... or a ship being in port from 12 noon to 12 noon). Sometimes, we read about itinerary changes through this board... like Veendam's changes in leaving one port early to arrive at the next earlier in Bermuda. Our data is currently wrong for the cancelled Noordam charter for the World Cup... we will keep our eyes open to change our files. I currently have the days through September 18, 2010 saved in documents to copy and paste into posts. I was initially reluctant to volunteer because I certainly didn't want to look up every ship's destination on my own!

I am very glad you did take over this task as I really enjoy knowing where the fleet is each day. Jane:)
