Hello Everyone,

 

I dont know if you all heard, but a man from the Oasis of the Seas fell off the ship near Saint Thomas. I depart Thursday for a 9 night Bermuda/Caribbean Cruise and Saint Thomas is on the itinerary, but I checked for any changes for that sailing and nothing came up, do u think this will effect my cruise from going to saint thomas? Please let me know asap.

I am not sure why you think this would have any effect on your Explorer cruise. Coast Guard is searching for the crew member of the Oasis. Oasis has resumed its schedule.

The Oasis had to backtrack to see if they could locate the crew member who jumped or fell off the ship. As a result she was unable to make her next port of call which would have been St. Thomas and, eventually headed for the next port on its itinerary, St. Maarten. Not sure why you think that this tragic incident would have any effect on your Explorer cruise but rest assured, it won't.:)
