New Zealand - it looks like this is the one

Recommended Posts

OK all you CCer's it looks like NZ may be the one we have to decide on so who is going and when. What ship and what month. Let's meet up again and have another great time.

Hi John.

You could have picked a better destination!

Why no join us on the Diamond Princess for the Christmas and New Year Cruise out of Sydney going to Melbourne, Hobart, the Sounds, Dunedin, Christchurch, Tauranga, and disembarking in Auckland. Check out our roll call http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1129580

Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately we have family commitments over the Christmas period. in your reply you said: "You could have picked a better location". Did you mean "you could not have picked a better location"!!!

Just thought i would pipe in and say why not give the dawn princess Melbourne-NZ return 8/12/2010 a try.

But as you have said above it might not work so whatever you choose good luck on your trip

Would love to do that ship, Bob, but the timing of its departures do not suit us. February would be our earliest we could go and later in the year would be better. Do you know if the Diamond sails at any other time to NZ.

hi John, the Diamond departs Auckland on the 27th Jan to Sydney but its a better ship than the Sun and the cabins are bigger other than that the latest the Sun Princess leaves Sydney is the 20th Feb to NZ

btw we stayed on deck 11 midship on the Dawn Princess in an inside cabin and it wasnt so bad

Hi John, You and Eileen need to cancel all arrangements at Christmas time and come with us on the Sun Princess, leaving on 30 December - just think of the sailaway parties! We have B755 again.

All the best,

Di

I got off the Diamond one year on Christmas Eve...so beautifully decorated for Christmas wish I could have stayed on.

The Atrium looked amazing, snowy villiages, churches and toy trains with a life size Santa and Sleigh suspended above...

Love to - Love to but we have so much planned for the next 6 months that we cannot possibly do a cruise. We are planning a cruise to NZ in October/November next year.

Hiya John

Hope you had a great pacific cruise. We did Sun Princess NZ in Feb this year and it was fabulous. It was 13 nights round trip from Sydney. NZ is a beautiful place and itinerary including sailing the fjordlands is absolutely brilliant. Hope you and Eileen are both well ...
