Anyone use lastminutetravel without problems?

I would like to know if anyone has had issues with rooms they booked through lastminutetravel not being available when they showed up or the hotel not getting the reservation?

 

I made my reservation yesterday and the hotel isn't showing that I have it today, should they have it by now?

I booked a hotel in Miami with lastminutetravel and had no problems. It took 3 days for the hotel to get the reservation so check back in a couple days.

Always wait 2-3 days and then call the hotel. You MUST get a hotel confirmation number (not just the bookers number) in case of problems later. Some discounters take longer. But haven't had problems. You can also call a few days in advance of your stay to reconfirm.

We used them with no problem.... I did call the hotel directly to confirm.

Thanks, I will definately keep calling the hotel (after I give them a few days to get the reservation) until I get a confirmation from them that we have the room.

 

Is there a toll free number for the Intercontinental hotel itself, or only for the reservation line?

I booked two rooms at the Hotel Victor in South Beach for five nights in January and had no problems.

 

I had about $2,500 on the line and never worried at all.
