Penthouse Suites on the Pearl

My NCL cruise consultant says He has two Penthouse suites available "GTY", He says that would guarentee me at least a Penthouse suite, but wouldnt assign the actual suite untill a week before the cruise. Any thoughts or advice on this?

Go for it !!!!You could get even a higher suite.

I've never seen penthouses on a guarantee. Are you sure they weren't mini-suites? I'd get more information. Plus, to say "he has two penthouse suites available GTY" is weird. Why two?

I was looking at cruises a while back and kept getting a "Suite Guarantee" popping up. I called my PCC and he said it was a weird thing that occasionally happened on the site, but that there is no such thing as a suite guarantee. I'd definitely delve deeper!

Thanks everyone. While I was waiting for someone to "Chime In" on this, I called my cc and He said they couldnt do it. I want to upgrade to a suite, I'll pay the extra money, for my Panama Canal Cruise on the Pearl in Sept/Oct, but He says that "Right Now" nothing is available. Something "Could" come up though. I told Him to keep me informed, and NOT change what I already have. (an inside)

How much more were they offering the Penthouse GTY for?
