Shore Excursions Oceana

Hi Everyone,

Just over 1 week now to our first cruise with P&O on the Oceana to the Med.

We have booked two excursions, one to Rome and one to Pisa and Florence. Could someone please tell me what the procedure is for collecting the relevent documents for the excursions.

Are they left in your cabin or do you have to collect them from reception or somewhere else.

We have never done a ship excursion before as we usually like to do our own thing but thought that given the distance from the port for the above destinations and the amount to see thought it would be good to do excursions for these.

Thanks. Getting excited now.:)

Your tour tickets should be waiting for you in an envelope in your cabin when you board. If not, contact the tours desk on board. The important thing is to read the Horizon daily paper delivered the night before, which gives you details of the time and place to meet for your tour.

I should also add that there will be port talks on the various ports on your itinery, which usually take place in the theatre. If you miss them, they usually video them and play them on one of the TV channels on a continuous loop.

Yes as Brian Says you collect your tour stickers some 30-60mins before the coach leaves usually from a public room like the theatre of a show lounge . The info on where to meet the coach and where to collect your tour sticker (you show your tickets to get your stickers) will be in that days Horizon daily news sheet in your cabin the night before.

We always have room service breakfast before tour excursions if early morning ones. This acts as a wake up call and also saves time going down to the restaurant or ss buffet, you can just eat the breakfast and go.
