Any Noise in Emerald Deck Mini-suites?

I just got a deal in a mini suite on the Emerald Princess. I was previously booked in a Caribe balcony and all sounded wonderful until I read this post. The Emerald cabin categories were all guarantees until last night, one became available...however it is on the port side. Was this too good to be true....did I just trade up to a cruise of sleepless nights. I think noise is reasonable until 11 PM -- we usually get out of dinner around 10 PM and then mosey around.

Do you think there will be a lot of noise in the cabin after 11 PM from Club Fusion below on the port side of the ship....some say it is awful, others say it is slight. Did I make a mistake in grabbing this room and giving up my midship treasure on the Caribe deck? I love the covered balcony so am not really interested in a mini on the dolphin deck. We also have no issue with walking distances to get to the activities....just try to leave 5-10 minutes earlier is all. What do you think???

Our most favorite cabin onboard the Diamond/Sapphire and the Golden Princess is on Emerald Deck/Starboard Side/Aft.......The only noise we have ever heard and felt is a "shutter/vibration" upon entering a port and when the ship uses its reverse thrusters. We have NEVER heard noise from Club Fusion.

We've only been on the Starboard side I don't know if the noise is different from the club on the Port side.

I hope your cruise turns out to be a wonderful one.

If there is more on the port side, I will try to pretend it is white noise. As a matter of fact, I think I have a white noise maker that we will take just in case.

Thanks to everyone for their answers. We were under the trident grill on the Crown and it was awful -- but under and over are probably two different things.
