We stayed at the Marriott Fallsview.

Absolutely spectacular view from our room!!!!!

I would second the Marriott but either would serve you well. The Marriott has spectacular views as well. Yes do book early. You can always cancel.

I have a question. We are thinking of going to Niagra Falls in July. This is separate from our August cruise from Montreal.

 

Is the only way to fly from the US to go into Buffalo (BUF), NY? How how long hard is it to go across the border? We would have a driver. Thanks.

BUF is the closest airport -- and it's about 48km -- or a 30 minute drive plus border crossing time at the Peace Bridge (assuming you want Niagara Falls, ON)
