Rare MMDown Under Posted June 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2010 Seeking Niagara Falls accommodation recommendations please. We would require suite accommodation or two rooms. Would we need to book in advance for end Sept during week?

pappy3393 Posted June 6, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2010 I would second the Marriott but either would serve you well. The Marriott has spectacular views as well. Yes do book early. You can always cancel.
Jade13 Posted June 6, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 6, 2010 I have a question. We are thinking of going to Niagra Falls in July. This is separate from our August cruise from Montreal. Is the only way to fly from the US to go into Buffalo (BUF), NY? How how long hard is it to go across the border? We would have a driver. Thanks. BUF is the closest airport -- and it's about 48km -- or a 30 minute drive plus border crossing time at the Peace Bridge (assuming you want Niagara Falls, ON) http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=BUF&daddr=Niagara+Falls,+Ontario,+Canada&hl=en&geocode=FaIejwIdAKpO-ykHFtYisXTTiTGuS8Pu7I1d5A%3BFbdwkQId9g9J-ymFprwa6kPTiTGwH6TJKHsDBQ&mra=ls&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=83.525726,191.513672&ie=UTF8&z=12 Border wait times are here: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/bwt-taf/menu-eng.html Peace Bridge wait times, generally are pretty reasonable. Avoid rush hours (06h30 - 09h00 and 16h00 to 18h30~ish) and/or any time the Bills are playing a home game, and it is generally 15 mins or less. Scott.
