bardstowntraveller Posted June 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2010 What is the closest station to Tivoli Gardens if using Bus 26? Also, does anyone know when the last bus back to Langeline departs from Tivoli. Finally, how far is the DFDS stop from the Langeline Pier?

Rare HeinBloed Posted June 9, 2010 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2010 Do you know how far DFDS is from the Langeline pier. It appears that there is one bus/hour which stops there up to midnight. I know - but it will not be helpful for you... 1.3 km = 3/4 mile = 16 minutes If you visit Google Maps: Origin: Dampfærgevej, København, Danmark Destination: Langeliniekaj, København, Danmark The reason why it is not helpful for you: you asked the wrong question... You just asked for DFDS-Terminal... BUT if you get off at Söndre Frihavn (Indiakaj intersection Folke Bernadottes Allé) you are just 1/2 mile = 10 minutes away from Langeliniekaj... and the last bus leaves few minutes after 10 minutes past midnight... depending where you board... Rare HeinBloed Posted June 18, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2010 I was there on Sunday, and 26 doesn't operate Saturday or Sunday. Before someone misunderstood your information. Bus 26 runs on Weekends. Only the branch which would serve Frihavn is not served on weekends. If you need to go to Langeline terminal it's no problem to take bus 26. Here you find the official schedule of the bus operator Movia: http://www.moviatrafik.dk/dinrejse/koreplaner/Pages/Buslinje.aspx?direction_gid=9012200002610000&line_name=26&linegid=9011200002600000 Regards HeinBloed
jantoby Posted June 18, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 18, 2010 I apologise for unintentionally giving incorrect information. When I was in Copenhagen last Sunday I enquired about getting the 26 bus from near the ship at Nordhaven into the town, and was told the number 26 did not operate at weekends. Vacay Lover Posted May 1, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2011 Hello Heinbloed, I desperately need your help. I will be in Copenhagen at the Frihavnen (Freeport) Port on Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30. I would like to get from this port to the center of town. I have heard that bus 26 will take me directly between these two points. I think I need to get on the bus at Kalkbrænderihavnsgade. My destination is Bike with Mike which is on Turesensgade 10 Street. Can you help? Thanks in advance, Erica
Danish viking Posted May 2, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Actually bus number 26 will not get you near Turesensgade at all. Take the bus and get off at Østerport station. From here you take a southbound train, both regional trains and S-trains to the next station at Nørreport station. From here you can walk to Turesensgade 10. http://map.krak.dk/m/aJdLm The bus ticket is also valid on the train.

Danish viking Posted May 3, 2011 #13 Share Posted May 3, 2011 If you go to the central station (København H) then you can take a north bound S -train from track 9 and 10 or a north bound regional train that normally departs from 3-4 and sometime from 1 and 2. You then get of at Østerport were Langelinie is in walking distance.
Vacay Lover Posted May 13, 2011 #14 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Danish Viking, Thank you so much. Is there a place to buy bus/train tickets at Frihavnen? Is it easier to just take a taxi from the port into town? Thanks, Erica
Danish viking Posted May 15, 2011 #15 Share Posted May 15, 2011 There are both ticket machines and a 7 Eleven kiosk, only the kiosk sells the Citypass (24 and 72 hour), CPH Card (also 24 and 72 hour) and 24 hour tickets.
