Mariner of the Seas Balcony D2 Selection

Recommended Posts

Is there any real difference in booking 7646 or 8652 on the Mariner of the Seas? They are both D2 balconies, on the same side, but one is one deck higher and 3 cabins more aft. I got seasick when we were 9th deck aft. It could have been an isolated situation but should I book seven to be on the safe side. Does one deck higher make the movement of the ship more pronounced? Please help!

It can, but I've never noticed it by deck level. I have had more motion when stay all the way aft (and forward can be worse), but it wasn't THAT much more motion than anywhere else.

I like a deck close to where I spend most of my time....1 or 2 flights of stairs is easy... more than that is a royal pain!
