Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted June 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2010 We will be heading out on the Sky next Friday (first time with NCL). Can anyone tell me if there is wireless internet onboard (specifically in aft cabins)? THANKS! Tom
Rare rjm11 Posted June 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2010 we were in an aft cabin on Deck 9 and had a VERY weak signal that was too intermittent to do anything with. In port we actually got a stronger signal from the RCCL ship parked behind us. We ended up just using the computers in the internet cafe... never any wait, and they were fast enough to check email several times a day, and respond to a few, and we still only used a small portion of the 60 minutes we had for $24. Philob Posted June 10, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Internet Cafe and the Atrium for sure. Electrical wall plugs are few and far.

Thanks - we have experienced ships before with "full ship wireless" only to have to go down the hall or in an atrium to have it work. Our laptop keeps a charge for over 4 hours, so I will just plan on making a daily trek to a hot spot. Tom
garycarla Posted June 10, 2010 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2010 Plan on searching for a spot with a good signal. And if weak, expect to spend even more time, and therefore more money online. Find a STRONG signal to do your work.
