X Summit - Pool Accessiblity

I have read a couple of old posts that state that the swimming pool on the Celebrity Summit is not wheelchair accessible due to some steps and a lack of lift. I do not need a lift but am wondering if issue with the steps has been corrected recently. The most recent post regarding the issue that I have been able to find is from 2008. Thank you!

I'll be on Summit next week, and will check for you, but I'm not sure what you are actually asking. What problem is there with the steps? What is it that you need in order to get into the pool?

I use a wheelchair and my understanding was that there was steps to get to the pool area and no ramp. If I can get next the pool then I can climb out of my chair and get into the pool.

Would you mind also checking the T pool and finding out what the situation is there in regard to entering the pool? (Steps, ladder, ramp, ?).

The information you have is correct. Did you check the Celebrity website ? It notes all Celebrity Ships that are HC Accessible. Summit is not listed as one.
