New to Celebrity - Equinox question

We are thinking about booking an 11 day cruise with some family and I was wondering if the balconies can be opened up to each other? I have had the balcony before on RCCL & NCL and remember that we were not able to do that.

Yes. A majority of the balconies open up as well as a clever way to make a sort of entry way for adjoining rooms. Check with X or TA as to whether the balconies you want can open.

I would say just about all of the balconies can be joined, they just take the glass bit off the front of the divider.

I was on deck 10 on Equinox and we had 3 cabins in a row with the balconies opened. My balcony had a large slanted pole (support beam) between my balcony and the next, and it was not that easy to step across. Most of the balconies on the Equinox do not have this support beam, and if that might bother you, it would be good to try to find out if your cabins had that beam or not.
