languageartslady Posted June 16, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 16, 2010 I know that Gold level passengers used to receive a small gift. One time I received a tote bag with the ship's name on it (Love it!) and once a 'leather' photo frame (not my favorite). But then they discontinued them. Are they back? I see on the chart that the youth travelers will receive a commemorative gift, but nothing in the adult version. Anyone know about this? Thanks! Johanna7 Posted June 16, 2010 #7 Share Posted June 16, 2010 In Oct. 2008 on the Mariner we each got a RCCL baseball cap. I wore it in Cozumel and there was a chance to have our picture taken with 3 parrots. The trainer of the parrots would use our camera to take the picture ($10). He took 3. Later, I noticed that the dome of my baseball cap was missing and there were tiny wires there. When we printed the pictures at home, we noticed that one of the parrots was in the process of picking it off. Caught in the act!
languageartslady Posted June 16, 2010 #8 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Parrots are apparently destructive! I don't remember when I heard they had stopped doing the commemorative gift... so I'm not sure if the fact you received something means it is reinstated or not... Anyone been recently? languageartslady Posted June 16, 2010 #10 Share Posted June 16, 2010 I was afraid of that. With the new changes to the C&A program, I was hoping they changed it back. Anyone back since the changes?
